LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Little Rock Baseball Coach Chris Curry announces the addition of ten new players to the 2023-24 roster. The Trojans will have eight new faces in their bullpen.
"With so many players from our 2023 roster returning, our needs for the 2024 team were specific and small in number. Coach Sanders and Coach Cox worked very hard to find the right players who fit not only our roster needs, but also have the character and makeup we're looking for. We feel all of our incoming players will have an opportunity to contribute immediately and enhance our team chemistry," said Coach Curry.
Joey Adge
Hailing from Parker, Colorado, Joey Adge joins the Trojans after spending two years at Pima Community College. Adge has connections to professional and collegiate baseball through his father, Jason Adge, who played in the Cleveland Guardians organization and his brother, Tyler, who played for Sacramento City College and New Mexico State. At Pima College, Adge was a .278 hitter, played 20 games, hit a homerun, had 11 RBI, scored 5 runs and stole a base.
Seth Adams
Seth Adams is a Fayetteville native who joins the Trojans after spending two years at Crowder College. Adams is a right handed pitcher who will bring depth to the Tojans' bullpen. At Crowder College, Adams threw 12 innings giving up 16 hits, 18 strikeouts, and a single homerun.
Robert Bavon
Robert Bavon is a homegrown pitcher from Little Rock and spent time at Seminole State College. At Seminole State, Bavon pitched 114 innings, notched 139 strikeouts, and only allowed 60 earned runs.
Joshua Beezley
Josh Beezley is the lone international signee joining the Trojans this year. The New South Wales native joins the Trojans as a right handed pitcher from National Park College. Beezley pitched 43 innings at NPC and totaled 29 strikeouts.
Marshall Brown
Marshall Brown is a former Arkansas Tech pitcher from Kennett, Missouri. He spent three years at Arkansas Tech where he earned both Dean's List honors and All-Academic honors. Brown appeared in 27 games at Arkansas Tech amounting to 54 innings pitched throwing 42 strikeouts.
Jack Cline
Jack Cline is another Little Rock pitcher joining the team after spending two years at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid. While playing for NOC, Cline played in 15 games with 10 starts and 68 innings pitched. He allowed 79 hits and through 78 strikeouts.
Thomas Kuykendall
Thomas Kuykendall joins the Trojans from Rowlett, Texas after spending two years at Northern Oklahoma College and one year at University of Texas at Arlington. At NOC, Kuykendall appeared in 29 games and threw 123 strikeouts. At UTA, Kuykendall threw 4 innings 5 strikeouts.
Edgar Rosales
From Long Beach, California, Edgar Rosales is joining Little Rock after playing two years at Cypress College. At Cypress College, Rosales appeared in 44 games hitting a .310 batting average with 3 homeruns and 30 runs scored.
Hunter Royal
Hunter Royal is a Rogers, Arkansas native and joins the squad after playing two years at South Arkansas College. At South Arkansas, Royal threw 62 innings only allowing 44 hits and 29 earned runs. Royal struck out 84 batters.
Blake Van Cleve
Rounding out the new signees is Blake Van Cleve who hails from Plano, Texas and joins the team after playing two years at Northeast Texas Community College. Van Cleve played in 14 games at NOC starting 11 and pitching 45 innings. He gave up 38 hits and threw 45 strikeouts.
