EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The first conference road trip of the season was a tough outing for Little Rock, which dropped both matches against Southern Indiana over the weekend at Screaming Eagles Arena. The Trojans (3-10 overall, 0-2 OVC) fell in Friday's match, 3-1, then were swept by Southern Indiana (6-8, 2-1) on Saturday.

So. Indiana 3, Little Rock 1 — 16-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-22
Daedrianna Cail had 13 kills and eight blocks while hitting an eye-opening .556 percent to lead the Trojan attack.
Kaila Harris added 11 kills and three blocks while
Jeila Fullerton was in on four blocks.
Dariana Valencia and
Kaylee Smith each had 16 assists with Valencia leading the team with 14 digs.
Andrea Roman also had 13 digs. The Trojans hit for a better percentage than the host Eagles and held a 22-6 advantage in blocks.

The Trojans hit just .088 percent and suffered from unforced errors in the Saturday matinee match, helping the hosts complete the series sweep. Fullerton had seven kills and three blocks, Cail finished with six kills and four blocks, and
Bella Cherry added five kills. Valencia had 11 assists and Smith added 10 but the Trojans committed 11 service errors and seven miscues on the receiving end.

Next Up
Little Rock is home next Friday and Saturday to host Tennessee Tech at 6 pm and 2 pm, respectively, at the Jack Stephens Center.
