LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Little Rock Men's Basketball continues Ohio Valley Conference action on Thursday as the Trojans travel to Evansville, Indiana to face Southern Indiana. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen to the live broadcast on 106.7 The Buz2 with Ray Tucker or tune in on ESPN+.
The Trojans enter the contest 8-10 overall and 2-3 in OVC action after losing at UT Martin 77-72 on Saturday. In that game,
Jamir Chaplin led Little Rock in scoring with 22 points, while
KK Robinson brought down a team-high seven rebounds and contributed 19 points, including three three-pointers.
Bradley Douglas knocked down 18 points in the loss, including recording a career-high seven three-point field goals made.
Overall for Little Rock, Robinson leads the team in points per game averaging 17.8, while Chaplin leads the team in rebounds averaging 6.6 per game.
USI enters the game 5-13 overall and 2-3 in the OVC after losing at SIUE 67-64 on January 11. Overall for the Screaming Eagles, Jeremiah Hernandez leads the team in scoring averaging 14.8 points per game, while AJ Smith leads the team in rebounds averaging 9.5 boards per game.
USI leads the all-time series record 2-0 over the Trojans. The only two contests for the teams was last season during OVC action. The Screaming Eagles won 74-64 in Evansville and 82-81 in Little Rock.
