LITTLE ROCK - The Trojans are gearing up for an exciting tri-meet this Saturday at the Donaghey Aquatic Center, starting at 10:30 a.m. They'll be facing off against St. Louis and Henderson State. This event is extra special as it coincides with alumni weekend, bringing former team members back to join the current squad.
"The ladies have been practicing incredibly hard and challenging themselves. We have encouraged the ladies to believe in themselves and swim without fear to put out the best of them. Mid-season is coming very soon and the training is getting harder and harder everyday but the team always exceed my expectations." said coach Emilia Martinez on this weekends race.
This upcoming meet marks the second time the ladies will compete against the Reddies and the Bilikens, having achieved a remarkable sweep in last year's tri-meet. The Trojans dominated, securing victories in 12 events and even earning an NCAA Zone Cut on the 1-meter board. They'll be looking to replicate that success this Saturday!
