Little Rock Cross Country Competes at OVC Championships Friday

MARTIN, TN. - The Little Rock men's and women's cross country teams compete at the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Championships Friday. The women's 6K will begin at 9 am and the men's 8k will start at 10 am.

It marks the first time UT Martin has hosted the event in west Tennessee since 2004, where 11 teams will participate.
 

"Competing in the OVC Conference is more than just a race; it's a chance to show our grit and determination. This team has given it all this season and I cant wait to see their hard work pay off. Go Trojans!" said Coach Hime.

The Trojans look to continue their momentum from the Crimson Classic where the men finished in 12th place over the 8K course with Andrew Payton  leading the men's team, while Aaliyah Joshua paced the women's team where they placed 13th overall in an incredible finish to the regular season.
