A SpectacuaLR Success for the Trojans

The 16th annual SpectacuaLR, an event benefiting Little Rock Athletics, took place on Thursday, Nov. 14, when more than 500 Trojan supporters gathered at the Jack Stephens Center.

This year's SpectacuaLR honored Anne and Merritt Dyke, loyal UA Little Rock advocates and pillars of the Central Arkansas community. Merritt is the Chairman of the Board of Dyke Industries, Inc., and a member of the UA Little Rock Board of Visitors and the Trojan Athletics Council.

"It was an unforgettable night for Trojan Athletics," said Frank M. Cuervo, Director of Athletics at Little Rock. "I'm incredibly grateful to Anne and Merritt for their unwavering support, as well as to our generous donors, sponsors, and the hardworking Trojan Student-Athletes and Head Coaches. I look forward to working with all our constituents to help the Trojans bring pride and distinction to Little Rock."

Since its inception, the annual event has raised more than $3.5 million to support Trojan Athletics.

Donations made through SpectacuaLR, as well as all gifts to the Trojan Fund, support the student-athlete experience at Little Rock, including scholarships, academic support, and overall programmatic enhancements.
