Little Rock Men's Basketball will open the 2024-25 season Monday at home against capital city opponent Arkansas Baptist. Opening tip against the Buffaloes is scheduled for 7 p.m. Video broadcast of the game with be aired on ESPN+ with Dorian Craft and Patrick Newton on the call. Radio coverage will air around 6:45 p.m. with Trojan Hall of Famer Ray Tucker returning for another season, airing live on 106.7 FM The Buz2.
The Trojans enter the season picked to finish first in the Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll. Returning senior
Jordan Jefferson was named to the Preseason OVC Player's to Watch Men's Basketball team. Jefferson is joined by returner
Ante Beljan, who did not play last year due to injury. Jefferson and Beljan are backed by LSU transfer
Mwani Wilkinson, Creighton transfer
Johnathan Lawson, and Texas State transfer
Tuongthach Gatkek. The Trojans welcome eight newcomers.
This will be the third meeting between the Trojans and Buffaloes, with Little Rock leading the series 2-0. The last matchup ended in victory for the Trojans on November 10, 2022 with a final score of 71-60.
