COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — The Little Rock Trojans' historic 2024 season concluded in the OVC Semifinal with a tough 1-0 loss to Lindenwood. Little Rock, entering as the 2-seed—their highest since 2018—fought hard, but ultimately couldn't overcome Lindenwood's solid defense.
How It Happened
The Trojans gave a valiant effort, generating 12 shots (4 on target) but were unable to capitalize. The match, held at Tech Soccer Field in Cookeville, TN, saw Lindenwood's Georgia Pardalos net the only goal, assisted by Maddy Vasiloff in the 38th minute. Little Rock goalkeeper Peyton Urban put on a solid performance, recording 5 saves, but it wasn't enough to secure the win.
Physical play was on full display as both teams competed intensely. Lindenwood committed 6 fouls, while Little Rock registered 12. In a heated moment in the 85th minute, Amaya Arias received a yellow card, signaling Little Rock's commitment but also underscoring the challenges they faced against Lindenwood's disciplined defense.

Season in Review
The 2024 season marks one of the best in program history, with the team achieving their highest seeding since 2018 and earning two OVC Player of the Year awards—the first dual honors since 2011 in women's basketball. The Trojans also boasted a strong defense, with only one conference loss and just three goals conceded to conference opponents throughout the regular season.
Under head coach Kelly Farrell, the Trojans have cultivated a culture of success that has raised the bar for the future. While the team fell just short in the semifinals, this season's achievements set a new standard for the program and provide a foundation for continued excellence.
