Little Rock Student-Athletes continued their tradition of academic success during the Fall 2024 semester, posting a 3.41 GPA for the term. This marks the 23
rd consecutive semester the Trojans have posted a 3.0 or higher department-wide GPA.
"I am proud of the continued academic excellence exhibited by our student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Frank M. Cuervo. "They are among the best and brightest on the UA Little Rock campus and should be commended. In addition, our coaches and academic support staff deserve credit for providing the backbone of our Student-Athlete Support Services program and helping these young men and women achieve at the highest levels."
Three Trojan programs recorded GPAs of 3.5 or higher, led by Women's Golf at 3.74. Swimming & Diving followed at 3.73 and Men's Golf posted a 3.65. Nine other teams finished with GPAs of 3.0 or better, including Volleyball, Women's Track & Field/Cross Country, Soccer, Wrestling, Baseball and Men's Track & Field/Cross Country.
A total of 86 student-athletes made their respective Dean's List (3.5-3.89) and 62 were recognized on the Chancellor's List (3.9+). Altogether, 214 Trojan Student-Athletes post a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, on Nov. 14, 10 student-athletes received their UA Little Rock bachelor's degrees at Fall Commencement.
