Little Rock Men's Basketball Closes Out the Regular Season at Home Against Tennessee Tech on Senior Day

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Little Rock Men's Basketball closes out the regular season on Saturday as the Trojans hosts Tennessee Tech on Senior Day.  Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.  Fans can use the code TROJANS online to purchase $5 GA or $10 Leather Seats for the game.

Jamir Chaplin, Makhel Mitchell, and DeAntoni Gordon will be honored pregame during the Senior Ceremony.

The Trojans are currently tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference and have a chance to clinch the No.1 seed with a win on Saturday and at least a share of the OVC Regular Season Championship.

Little Rock enters the contest 19-11 overall and 13-4 in the OVC after defeating Tennessee State Thursday 85-60 at The Jack Stephens Center.  Jordan Jefferson. led all scorers with a season-high 22 points, while Mitchell led the team in rebounds with eight while also contributing 10 points, a team-high four blocks, and a team-high five assists.

Bradley Douglas scored 19 points, while Gordon contributed 16 points.  KK Robinson scored 11 points in the win.

Overall the Trojans, Robinson leads the team in points averaging 15.8 per game, while Chaplin leads the team in rebounds averaging 6.6.

Tennessee Tech enters the game 10-20 overall and 5-12 in OVC play after losing 80-69 at UT Martin on Thursday.  Overall for the Golden Eagles, Jayvis Harvey leads the team in points averaging 14.5 per game, while Josiah Davis leads the team in rebounds averaging 4.6 per contest.

This will be the fourth meeting between the teams with Little Rock leading the all-time series 2-1.  The Trojans won the last meeting on December 28, 2023 in Cookeville, Tenn. 81-75.  Tennesssee Tech won the first meeting on January 19, 2023 in Little Rock 77-75.
