DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Little Rock Men's Basketball team will compete in their first postseason appearance since 2016 against Fairfield in the first round of the Ro College Basketball Invitational Tournament on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 2:30 p.m. CST. Fans can listen live with Ray Tucker on 106.7 The Buz2 or watch live on FLOHOOPS for a fee.
This is Little Rock's first appearance in the Ro CBI Tournament as the Trojans enter the game 21-12 overall after losing 69-55 to Morehead State in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships. In that game,
Bradley Douglas led the team in points scoring 14 including two three-pointers.
KK Robinson contributed 13 points, while
Jamir Chaplin scored 11 points and a team-high six rebounds.
Overall for Little Rock, Robinson leads the team in points averaging 15.7 points, while Chaplin leads that team in rebounds averaging 5.6.
Fairfield enters the match-up 22-12 overall after losing 68-63 to Saint Peter's in the MAAC Championship game. Overall, Caleb Fields leads the team in points averaging 16.4, while Jasper Floyd leads the team in rebounds averaging 5.9 per game.
This is the first meeting between the two teams.
