Little Rock Comes from Behind to Clinch Series Against UT Martn

Trojans win 4th consecutive conference series to remain tied for first place in the OVC

MARTIN, Tenn.- Little Rock surmounts first inning deficit to win the fourth consecutive series win. Trojans remain tied for first place in the OVC with Tennessee Tech.

How It Happened
UT Martin opened the game by jumping out to a 4-run lead in the first inning. Little Rock cut the lead in half in the second inning as Alex Seguine scored off a pitcher's throwing error. Ben Harmon then scored off an RBI single from Jake Wright. 

The score would remain 2-4 in favor of the Skyhawks until the Trojans erupted in the fourth inning with a 5-run inning. It all started with a pair of singles from Ben Harmon and Skyler Trevino. Harmon was brought home by a RBI double from Noah Brewer. Trevino and Brewer would then be brought home by a 3-run home run from Tyler Williams giving the Trojans a 6-4 lead. Alex Seguine wrapped up the inning with an RBI bunt bringing Jake Wright home. Little Rock ended the inning with 5 runs on 6 hits, 1 error, and 2 left on base.

Little Rock recorded and shutout bottom half of the fourth inning and plated 2 more in the top of the fifth as Tyler Williams hit his second home run of the game. Williams broke the Little Rock RBI record with that home run making his career total 128. 

UT Martin would respond in the bottom of the sixth with a 3-run home run to cut into the lead. Nico Baumbach would hit an RBI single to add an insurance run for the Trojans in the top of the eighth. 

In the bottom of the ninth, UT Martin hit a solo shot, but Erik McKnight would come in the game to pitch 0.2 innings and record his first save of the season.
