RUSTON, Louisiana- The Little Rock Trojans conclude a 5 game road trip with a midweek loss against Louisiana Tech after the Bulldogs get a walk off base hit.
How It Happened
The Bulldogs grabbed an early lead in the bottom of the first with a 2-run inning. The Trojans responded with a run in the top of the second to cut the lead in half.
It would be radio silence for both sides until the top of the fifth saw a 3-run inning for the Trojans.
Alex Seguine got it started with a 2RBI double down the right field line which brought
Trey Hill and
Luke Pectol across the plate. Seguine would then score later in the inning on a passed ball to give the Trojans a 2-run lead 4-2. In the home half of the fifth, the Bulldogs would respond with another 2-run inning to tie the game.
Louisiana Tech would grab the lead in the bottom of the sixth making the score 5-4.
In the top of the ninth,
Ty Rhoades doubled to left center to bring
Alex Seguine and
Luke Pectol home giving the Trojans a late lead; however, the lead was short lived as the Bulldogs would grab 2 runs of their own in the bottom of the ninth including a walk off base knock to end it.
