Little Rock Set To Play Southern Indiana in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament

Trojans will make OVC Tournament debut against Southern Indiana after receiving a double bye

MARION, Ill.- Little Rock Baseball will make their Ohio Valley Conference debut against Southern Indiana after winning the double bye. Southern Indiana advances to the double elimination rounds after beating UT Martin.

Just 2 weeks, the Little Rock Trojans swept the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles to claim sole possession of the number 1 spot for the first time all season. Little Rock outlasted USI in 3 games which were all decided by 2 2 runs or less. Both Saturday and Sunday ended in walk off fashion behind a Luke Pectol 2 RBI double on Saturday and Christian Bernabe reaching on a fielding error by the pitcher to allow Tyler Williams to score. The number one seeded Trojans will look to do what has only happened once before in winning the conference tournament and earning a bid to an NCAA Regional.

Little Rock is set to have an 11 a.m. first pitch with All-OVC First Team recipient, Hoss Brewer, on the mound. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
