MACOMB, Ill.- The Little Rock Trojans fall in the Saturday game against Western Illinois to make Sunday the series deciding game. The Trojans are now tied for first place.
How It Happened
It was another back-and-forth game through the first 3 innings as the lead was exchanged 4 times. It was back-to-back 4-run innings in the fourth and fifth inning that blew the game open for the Leathernecks.
The Trojans had a ninth inning rally which saw 5 runs plated including a 3-run home run from
Christian Bernabe; however, the efforts were not enough to overcome the deficit.
Blake Van Cleve pitched 3.0 perfect innings where he threw 5 strikeouts.

Little Rock now looks to win the series in Sunday's rubber match to secure a spot on top of the conference.
