LITTLE ROCK- Trojans score season high 7 goals in a victory over Pine Bluff.
Candice Kilderry and
Mykena Turner post first career multi-goal game one shy of a hat trick.
How It Happened
The Trojans scored what would be the game winning goal in the 8th minute by
Candice Kilderry after a rebounded shot from
Mykena Turner. Kilderry posted her second goal of the match in the 36th minute. This play was started by
Kaitlin Graeber who sent a ball to
Serenity Thake who got her first touch perfectly to Kilderry for a goal. This combo also facilitated last week's game winning goal against UCA by way of Graeber to Kilderry to Thake.
Mykena Turner got herself involved late in the first half with a header into the goal after a beautiful corner kick from
Hannah Schneider. The Trojans ended the first half up 3-0.Â
In the second half, it was locked up at 3-0 for the first part of the half. Turner found the back of the net again with an assist from Shery Saad to pad the lead in the 60th minute.
Serenity Thake added to the fun with another shot to the opposite side of the net after a nice touch from
Maria Schuller in the 67th minute.
Hannah Schneider made her first goal of the season in the 79th minute after a nice touch from
Jetney Cook to
Tianna Jones who executed a perfect back kick to Schneider. The Trojans added one more goal from
Maria Schuller with an assist by Shery Saad.
The Trojans put 7 goals on the board for the first time since 2018.
Key Players
The Trojans return to Coleman Sports Complex this Sunday against Oral Roberts at noon.
