Little Rock Wrestling opens its 2025-26 season in just 72 hours, bringing with it a lot of well-deserved hype and national recognition. The Trojans enter the season ranked in the top 25 nationally by four of the most prestigious organizations, including three spots in the top 15 or better.

Preseason national rankings by FloWrestling have Little Rock at No. 14, InterMat and The Open Mat each list the Trojans at No. 15, and the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) put Little Rock at No. 22 in its preseason poll.

"
It's great to see our guys getting recognized for their hard work in the rankings. While it's not our goal to just be ranked, it is an important step in the process. We look to get more in the rankings and help our chances to get to the NCAA Tournament." – head coach Neil Erisman

In addition to the team rankings, six Trojans are ranked nationally in their respective weight classes. Returning All-Americans
Stephen Little and
Matty Bianchi are each ranked in the top 5, Ohio State transfer
Brock Herman is in the top 20, and
Josiah Hill,
Brock DelSignore, and
Jaivon Jones are each listed.

Little Rock kicks off the new season at home Sunday with a tri-dual with Carl Albert State (1:30 pm) and Central Oklahoma (3 pm). The event can be streamed on FloWrestling.org.
