A brand-new season of Little Rock Wrestling is set to kick off this weekend at the Jack Stephens Center, as the Trojans prepare to host Carl Albert State and Central Oklahoma on Sunday for a tri-dual.
#14 Little Rock will hit the mat Sunday at 1:30 pm vs Carl Albert State. The event is available for streaming on FloWrestling.org with the purchase of a subscription. The Trojans will also face Central Oklahoma at 3:00 pm.
"Our team had a great offseason and preseason. I've been very impressed with our growth and development. Our competition begins with two great competitors in Carl Albert State and Central Oklahoma. UCO is a traditional Division II powerhouse. We are excited to test our team against them. They are great competitors and will be a tall order. I'm confident in our guys and excited to watch them compete." – head coach Neil Erisman
Little Rock enters the 2025-26 season with high expectations after the program completed its best campaign the year before, finishing among the Top 20 teams in the nation. The Trojans return a pair of NCAA All-Americans in
Matty Bianchi and
Stephen Little, along with a solid nucleus of returning lettermen and several strong transfers.
