Trojans Add Men’s Basketball Exhibition Game; Announce Tip Times for 2025-26 Season

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Trojan basketball is back — and it's coming with big match-ups, rivalry showdowns, and history-making moments at the Jack Stephens Center.

On Tuesday, the Little Rock Department of Athletics announced the addition of a men's basketball exhibition game and released tip-off times for all men's and women's basketball home games during the 2025-26 season.

Following the Central Arkansas Tip-Off Classic, taking place at the Jack Stephens Center on Oct. 17, where the Trojans face in-state rival Arkansas-Pine Bluff (the Little Rock women will also take on the Golden Lions that evening), Head Coach Darrell Walker's team will face another Natural State opponent when they square off against the NCAA Division II Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m., in the program's final warm up of the season prior to opening the season.

"We are excited to play another game in front of our home fans at the Jack Stephens Center," Walker said. "It's another chance to play against an in-state opponent our fans are familiar with. There's a lot of buzz around our program heading into the season and we look forward to a great turnout to see our team in action."

Trojan Basketball season tickets, single-game tickets and group ticket experiences are on sale now at LRTrojans.com or by calling the Little Rock Athletics Ticket Office at (501) 916-3257. Don't miss your chance to be part of the championship chase this upcoming season!

The Trojan women open the regular season on Monday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. against Central Baptist, while the Little Rock men begin the new campaign the following day with a match-up against Arkansas Baptist on Tuesday, Nov. 4, also at 7 p.m.

"We can't wait to tip off the season," Little Rock women's basketball head coach Steve Wiedower said. "We are looking forward to seeing our fans at the UAPB game and our season opener against Central Baptist. Having big crowds means a lot to our team and gives us energy to play our best. We always love to perform in front of a packed house at the Jack Stephens Center."

Following the nonconference segment of the season, Ohio Valley Conference play will bring 10 league doubleheaders to the Jack Stephens Center, with Thursday games starting at 5 and 7 p.m. (Women's Basketball/Men's Basketball, respectively) and Saturday match-ups tipping off at 1 and 3 p.m. (Women's Basketball/Men's Basketball, respectively).

The lone exception to those standard game times will be for the program's OVC home openers, when the Trojans square off against Tennessee Tech for a special New Year's Day tilt on Thursday, Jan. 1. Games that day will begin at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. (Women's Basketball/Men's Basketball, respectively).
