LITTLE ROCK, AR. – The Trojans are back in action this weekend as they host the annual Little Rock Fall Invite and Alumni Meet, welcoming Henderson State, Delta State, and Saint Louis to the Donaghey Aquatic Center for two days of competitive racing and alumni celebration.
"We're really excited for this weekend's competition," said head coach Nathan Townsend. "Our team has been putting in a lot of hard work since the last meet, and we're looking forward to seeing how that progress shows up in the water. Over the past few years when we've hosted Saint Louis and Henderson State, we've always tried to make this meet a little more fun and competitive by mixing up the format. The racing has always been at a high level, and we're thrilled to welcome Delta State this year as we officially call it the Little Rock Fall Invite."
The meet will feature a unique format designed to bring energy and excitement across both days. Friday's session, beginning at 4 p.m., will highlight the 50s of each stroke in a prelims–semifinals–finals format, giving swimmers multiple opportunities to test their speed. Saturday's competition, starting at 10:30 a.m., will turn up the intensity with a variety of relay events, including the 800 freestyle relay and a creative 4x100 Individual Medley Relay, where each swimmer will race a 100 IM.
In addition to the exciting lineup of races, Saturday will also serve as the program's annual Alumni Meet. Little Rock will honor all Trojan swimming and diving alumni in attendance, celebrating their continued support and lasting contributions to the program.
With top regional programs converging in Little Rock, an alumni celebration on deck, and an innovative meet format, the Trojans are ready to make waves in front of their home crowd.
