Trojans Looking for Two-Game Win Streak Against Williams Baptist Monday Night

Fans Receive Discounted Tickets with Arkansas Food Bank Donation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock men's basketball team returns home Monday night for its final nonconference game of the season, hosting NAIA member Williams Baptist (9-2) at 7 p.m. inside the Jack Stephens Center. The Trojans (3-9) will look to notch a two-game winning streak after prevailing at Southern Indiana Thursday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

The evening will feature a doubleheader, with the Little Rock women's basketball team facing Hendrix at 5 p.m.

Fans can receive a $5 ticket discount by donating a non-perishable food item to benefit the Arkansas Food Bank (one discount per item). Fans are also encouraged to get into the holiday spirit by participating in the ugly holiday sweater contest, and "Santa" Maximus will be available for photos throughout the night.

 TROJAN TIDBITS
Cameron Wallace made the first start of his Trojans career against Morehead State and had a fantastic game in his second start, pouring in 19 points, pulling down 13 rebounds, and collecting two blocks.
Kachi Nzeh led the Trojans with 21 points in the win over USI. He also added four rebounds and two blocks.
Tuongthach Gatkek recorded a career-high seven steals against USI. The reigning OVC Defensive Player of the Year also blocked four shots and pulled down nine rebounds.
• Little Rock is one of six teams that are 1-1 in the OVC standings. Only Lindenwood and Morehead State finished 2-0 during the first week of the conference season.
• Little Rock is back in action at the Jack Stephens Center on Jan. 1. The Trojans play OVC foe Tennessee Tech following the women's game that tips at 3 p.m. On Jan. 3, Little Rock plays Tennessee State following the women's game at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
• Five of WBC's players are from nearby Jonesboro and won state championships on teams coached by legendary Jonesboro High School head coach Wes Swift.
• All but four Eagles players are from Arkansas.
• Sophomore guard Deion Wesson averages 24.5 ppg. Senior Jesse Washington averages 23.9 ppg. Both players starred at Jonesboro High School. Washington also averages nearly 10 rebounds per game.
• The Eagles are 5-2 in road games this season.
• WBC is averaging 90.9 points per game.
• The Eagles average 23.3 three-pointers per game but shoot just 25 percent from beyond the arc.
