MEQUON, Wis. — With nearly three weeks off since their last competition, the No. 14 Little Rock wrestling team is up north for a showdown against No. 11 Minnesota on Thursday night as part of
FloWrestling Night in America.
The competition will take place at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin, with action beginning at 7:00 p.m. FloWrestling subscribers can access the live stream

"This should be a great event … especially for the Bianchi family. Being so close to their home and having a dual was something important we wanted to do," head coach
Neil Erisman said. "We've focused a lot since our last competition on just staying in the fight, and we've had a lot of hard days. I believe we've improved and will continue to do so. Minnesota is a tough team, really good at every weight, so it should be a great battle."
Thursday begins a stretch of three events in just four days for the Trojans, as the team will also be in action Sunday at the Cougar Clash, hosted by SIUE, as well as at home against Indiana. Little Rock will send some of its younger, less experienced wrestlers to Edwardsville, where they can gain valuable competition time.
"We have a tough stretch here this weekend. Indiana is a good squad, older and seasoned. It should be a good scrap," Erisman said. "The Cougar Clash is a great event for our team. It will catapult some guys who are competing for a spot. I'm excited to see the whole team compete."
