Riding a three-game win streak, including back-to-back road victories, Little Rock fell 57-45 to Southeast Missouri State Tuesday night at the Jack Stephens Center.
The Trojans (16-10, 10-5) never found their shooting touch in the game, and only led for just over a minute in the contest.
Johnathan Lawson led the Trojans with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
Ante Beljan contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds.
"We didn't shoot the ball well," Beljan said. "We always play great defense, and we did tonight, but we have to shoot the ball better. If we made some more shots tonight, it would have been different.
"I don't know if we were tired from being on the road, but it was just one of those nights."
Little Rock, who trailed 22-16 at halftime, never led in the second half and trailed by seven with just under 15 minutes left.
However, the Trojans climbed back into the game when the Redhawks (16-10, 11-4) were called for an administrative foul with 8:25 remaining in the game. Lawson sank the free throw, and the Trojans trailed 37-36.
SEMO answered, but Lawson countered with a jumper in the lane, and again Little Rock trailed by a single point.
But, that was as close as the Trojans could get as SEMO outscored them 18-7 the final 7:34.
SEMO's Rob Martin led all scorers with 17 points. Brendan Terry added 14 for the Redhawks, who shot 33% from the field.
Little Rock plays host Tennessee Tech Thursday night 25 minutes following the women's game which tips off at 5 p.m. This is the first of the final three home games being played at the Jack Stephens Center as the home slate wraps up for the season with two games next week.
