LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock Department of Athletics is proud to unveil the
Trojan Athletic Fund (TAF) — a bold, reimagined annual giving initiative designed to propel Trojan Athletics forward in a rapidly evolving collegiate landscape.
The TAF is built to deliver sustainable success across all sports by aligning donor passion and impact with the program's most pressing needs. This dynamic structure underscores Little Rock's commitment to enhancing the student-athlete experience while creating new pathways for supporter engagement and investment.
"As we enter a new era of intercollegiate athletics, we're excited to launch the Trojan Athletic Fund," said
Frank M. Cuervo, Little Rock Director of Athletics. "In just over a year at Little Rock, I've been inspired by the passion and energy of our donors, alumni, and fans. This initiative represents an important step in ensuring that enthusiasm translates into long-term success for the Trojans."
Key Pillars of the Trojan Athletic Fund:
·
Game Day Experience for Supporters
Improve fan access and satisfaction by enhancing premium seating options, parking, and engagement opportunities across all sports.
·
Student-Athlete Acquisition
Fund both traditional scholarships and new financial support mechanisms, including Cost of Attendance stipends, Academic Incentive payments, and Revenue Sharing models that align with the future of college sports.
·
Program Excellence
Advance the overall student-athlete experience by investing in sports medicine, nutrition, travel, strength and conditioning, and retaining top coaching talent.
"The TAF provides a clearer, more accessible way for our supporters to understand how their contributions make a difference," said
Dan Crowley, Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Revenue Officer. "It's designed to simplify the giving process while encouraging broader participation from our growing Trojan community."
What Supporters Can Expect:
In the coming weeks, fans will receive digital communications regarding
Trojan Basketball Season Ticket renewals for the 2025–26 season, which will include updated ticket pricing and a separate priority contribution to the Trojan Athletic Fund.
Athletics staff will personally reach out to current donors and season ticket holders to provide support, answer questions, and guide them through the transition. Additionally, a series of
open house events will be held to foster transparency, educate the community, and promote engagement with the new structure.
"This next phase in college athletics is increasingly driven by strategic resource investment," added Cuervo. "We know change isn't always easy, but the Trojan Nation is ready to meet this moment. Together, we will elevate Little Rock Athletics to new heights."
