LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock Swimming team will open the 2025-26 competition schedule in two months, hosting the All-Arkansas Invitational on Sept. 20 at the Donaghey Aquatic Center. In all, the Trojans will compete a total of seven weekends across the season before heading to the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in late February.
Â
"We'll open with the All-Arkansas Invitational, and it looks like all the Arkansas programs will be in attendance, which makes for a strong start. We're excited to host Saint Louis, Delta State, and Henderson State, where we plan to mix things up with some creative lineups to keep our home meets engaging," Little Rock head coach Nate Townsend said. "In October, we'll travel to Rice for a two-day outdoor meet—racing outdoors always brings a unique energy. We're also returning to the House of Champions Invitational in Indianapolis, a meet that continues to be a highlight of our fall schedule."
Â
Little Rock finished third at the House of Champions in 2024 and will look to improve on its fifth-place finish during last season's MVC Championships. The Trojans scored a program-record 791 points at the MVC meet earlier this spring.
Â
"After winter training, we'll compete in a bracket-style dual meet(s) in New Orleans against Tulane, New Mexico, and North Texas. We're proud to welcome UT Rio Grande Valley for a two-day meet featuring the full slate of conference events. We'll close out with our championship season at conference in Evansville, followed by the National Invitational Championships in Ocala," Townsend said.
