CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Little Rock came away with a 1-1 draw at Southeast Missouri on Thursday evening at Houck Stadium, moving to 2-3-4 on the season and 0-0-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
How It Happened
The Trojans struck early when Jaeda Centeno netted her second goal of the year in the 10th minute, giving Little Rock the initial lead. The advantage held for nearly 20 minutes before the Redhawks equalized in the 28th minute, sending the match into halftime tied 1-1.
Little Rock generated chances throughout the contest, finishing with 13 shots—nine on goal—and an 8-4 edge in corner kicks. Centeno, Maria Schuller, and Maggie Turner combined for seven of the Trojans' shots on target. Despite the offensive push, the Trojans were unable to convert again.
Goalkeeper Peyton Urban played all 90 minutes and collected two saves on the evening.
