Trojans Aim to PACK THE ROCK – February 21 at the Jack Stephens Center

Fans invited to help fill the arena for pivotal OVC matchups vs. Southeast Missouri

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Athletics is calling on all Trojan fans to PACK THE ROCK on Saturday, February 21, as the Trojans host a crucial Ohio Valley Conference basketball doubleheader against Southeast Missouri at the Jack Stephens Center.

The women's game tips off at 1 p.m., followed by the men's contest approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener. With both programs battling for the OVC championship, this marquee matchup promises high stakes, intensity and a playoff-like atmosphere in the Capital City.

An Opportunity to Make an Impact
In partnership with fans, season ticket holders, Trojan Athletic Fund (TAF) members, and sponsors, the Trojans look to create an electric, capacity crowd by distributing tickets purchased by supporters to Little Rock area schools, youth organizations and charitable groups, many of whom would not otherwise have the chance to experience a Trojan game.

Fans and partners wishing to sponsor PACK THE ROCK tickets for Central Arkansas community groups may contact Associate AD Noah Henkell at nhenkell@ualr.edu, or call the
Trojan Ticket Office at 501-916-3257.

Coaches Call on Trojan Nation
With postseason implications on the line, Little Rock's head coaches emphasized the importance of fan support.

'We want this place rocking!' said Little Rock Men's Basketball Coach Darrell Walker. 'When the Jack Stephens Center gets loud, it gives us energy and swings momentum our way. We need Little Rock behind us—bring your friends and family and support the Trojans.'

'Our players feed off the environment,' said Trojan Women's Basketball Coach Steve Wiedower. 'A packed house lifts our intensity, and shows the team that our city is behind us. We hope everyone will come out, make noise, and give our team the home-court edge.'

UAMS, a longtime supporter of Little Rock Athletics, will serve as the presenting sponsor of PACK THE ROCK. The women's game will also serve as the program's annual WBCA Pink Game, spotlighting breast cancer awareness and honoring those affected by the disease. The Trojan women will wear pink uniforms, while the men will sport pink socks, symbolizing their support for the cause.
