Trojans Try to Return to Win Column at Tennessee Tech

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — After dropping a close contest at Tennessee State on Thursday night, the Trojans look to bounce back on Saturday with a road matchup against Tennessee Tech. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at the Eblen Center, following the women's game.

TROJAN TIDBITS
Johnathan Lawson is 28 points shy of reaching 1,000 career points. The Memphis native began his career at Memphis before stops at Creighton and now Little Rock, where he is in his second season and ranks among the OVC's top players.
Braxton Bayless is also nearing the 1,000-point career milestone. After two seasons at the junior college level, Bayless has scored consistently during stints at Niagara, Western Kentucky and Little Rock. He has started every game for the Trojans this season.
• Little Rock will play five games in nine days following the addition of a makeup contest at UT Martin on Tuesday. The Trojans return to the Jack Stephens Center next week to host Lindenwood on Thursday and SIUE on Saturday.
 
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
• Tennessee Tech has dropped four straight games and five of its last six overall.
• The Golden Eagles' most recent OVC win came on Jan. 10, after upsetting Southeast Missouri on Dec. 18.
• Mekhi Cameron leads Tennessee Tech in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game.
• TTU ranks 10th in the OVC in scoring defense, allowing 76.4 points per game.
