Trojan Men Look for Road Sweep at Lindenwood

Little Rock hung on to beat SIUE Thursday night

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – After come-back win at SIUE Thursday night, the Trojans are looking to leave the St. Louis metro area with two wins. Little Rock plays at Lindenwood at 3:30 p.m., Saturday. 

Little Rock has won four of its past five games. Lindenwood began OVC play 4-0 before losing at SIUE Tuesday night.

Trojan Tidbits
•Little Rock trailed by 15 points with 18 minutes to play in the game on Thursday. SIUE also led by 12 with 10:30 to play before the Trojans made their run.
Johnathan Lawson played all 40 minutes of the win and scored a game-high 23 points and five assists. He was 10-for-10 from the free-throw line.
Kachi Nzeh hit a career-high four three-pointers in the win. He finished with 15 points.
•SIUE made 7-of-12 three-pointers in the first half, but the Trojans held them to 2-of-10 behind the arc in the second half.

•Jadis Jones ranks among the Ohio Valley Conference's top performers, sitting second in rebounds per game (8.2) and fourth in scoring (16.5 ppg). His 64.8 percent field-goal shooting leads the conference and ranks 11th nationally.
•The Lions lead the OVC in rebounds per game during conference play (39.6) and pace the league in defensive three-point percentage, holding opponents to 28.6 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
•Dontrez Williams ranks fifth in the OVC in field-goal percentage (47.0) and has elevated his production in conference play, sitting third in the league in scoring at 18.2 points per game over five OVC contests.
•Clayton Jackson leads the OVC in assist-to-turnover ratio during conference play, posting a mark of 2.83.
