Little Rock has now produced four different Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week winners this season, highlighted by Tuesday's announcement of Brock Herman earning the honor for the first time in his career.
"I'm very thankful and excited to receive this recognition," Herman said. "It means a lot, but it's really about the coaches and teammates who push me every day. I'm continuing to build confidence, find my groove, and focus on improving as the season goes on."
Ranked No. 21 at 149 pounds by FloWrestling, Herman avenged an earlier loss Saturday with an overtime victory against Missouri's Josh Edmond. The win propelled Herman up six spots in the national rankings, while Edmond fell four places to No. 22.
In his first season with the Trojans after transferring from Ohio State, Herman improved to 8-3 overall and has won six of his last seven matches as Little Rock moves closer to the conference and national championship portion of the schedule.
"Brock has pushed through a lot this season, and it's exciting to see him honored," head coach Neil Erisman said.
Herman joins fellow Trojans Matty Bianchi, Stephen Little, and Jaivon Jones as Pac-12 weekly award winners during the 2025-26 season.
