LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Just under a month ago, the Little Rock men's basketball team completed a comeback win at SIUE. They will look for the sweep of the season series at 3 p.m., Saturday afternoon at the Jack Stephens Center.
The women's game begins at 1 p.m.
Saturday's games will also feature the annual Hometown Hero Day, honoring military members and first responders. Military personnel and first responders may receive up to four complimentary tickets to the doubleheader.
In addition, Little Rock Athletics will recognize the 2026 Hall of Fame Class and welcome all Little Rock Athletics letter winners for a special in-game acknowledgment during the event.

Johnathan Lawson officially scored the 1,000
th point of his collegiate career Thursday night. Lawson needed eight points for the milestone but poured in 22. He also added 5 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Braxton Bayless has almost joined Lawson in the 1,000-point club. He scored 8 points Thursday night and now needs just five Saturday to reach the milestone. Little Rock head coach
Darrell Walker said Bayless fell hard in the UT Martin game Tuesday night and almost didn't play Thursday due to a sore hip.

Kachi Nzeh enjoyed a standout night Thursday. He scored 18 points and snared 7 boards with while converting 3-of-7 three-pointers.
•SIUE led Little Rock by as many as 15 points in the second half of the first game, but the Trojans outscored the Cougars 41-30 in the second half. Lawson exploded for 23 points making 10 free throws.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
•SIUE has won five of its past six games and beat Lindenwood, 78-72, on the road Tuesday night.
•Saturday marks the final of four straight road games.

Tyler King has started the past nine games, scoring 22 points at Lindenwood and a career-high 24 points at Morehead State on Jan. 29. He has scored in double figures in seven straight games and in eight of his last nine, leading the team with a 13.5 scoring average over the last 10 games.
•Arnas Sakenis recorded the second double-double of his career with 12 points and 13 rebounds at Lindenwood on Feb. 3.
