2006 (As a Junior): Made a tremendous impact in his first year at UALR, leading the Trojans in eight offensive categories: batting average (.360), at-bats (211), hits (76), doubles (21), total bases (118), slugging percentage (.559), on-base percentage (.452) and stolen bases (25); while tying for the team lead with three triples ... Ended the season ranked 25th nationally in doubles per game (0.4) and 46th in steals per game (0.47) ... Ranked second among all Trojan players with 47 runs scored and 28 walks ... At Missouri State: Spent two seasons with the Bears, appearing in 74 games and drawing 48 starts ... As a freshman in 2004, Gotcher made 38 starts for the Bears (32 in right and six as the designated hitter) and played in 48 games .. Batted .291 over 151 at-bats with 32 RBI and 52 runs scored, helping the Bears to a 31-28 record (19-12 MVC) ... His 32 RBI ranked third on the team ... Racked up seven doubles, two triples and a home run for a .384 slugging percentage, while going 5-of-9 on stolen base attempts ...
