2019-20 (Freshman): Did not compete.

Prior to Little Rock: A two-time heavyweight Louisiana State champion for Teurlings Catholic high school.... Helped his team to three State championships.... Also played football in high school.

Personal: Son of Jose and Kerri Santiago, both doctors.... Has two older siblings, Shelby and Travis, and one younger brother, Jaren.... Cousin Kash Foley plays football for Grambling.... Plans to major in interdisciplinary arts with hopes of becoming a sports physician someday.
