John Scognamiglio is the sports information intern for UALR Trojan athletics for the 2007-08 year.  He will serve as the primary contact for women’s soccer, swimming and diving, and men’s and women’s tennis.

Scognamiglio, a Eureka, Mo. native, graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. with a Bachelor of Science degree in History and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a minor in mathematics in May of 2007.  During his time at Truman, he was also the student assistant for the men’s basketball team.  In 2006, the team advanced to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1999.

Scognamiglio was born Jan. 30, 1984 in Saint Louis, Mo. and is the son of Don and Kelly Scognamiglio.  He has one sister, Jill.
