John B. Alexander High School: Graduated in 2016 while being in the National Honor Society...while playing baseball his team went to the Final Four in the 6A Texas State Championships in 2015 and to the Sweet-16 in 2014 and 2016. 

Personal: Hometown is Laredo, Texas...Son of Freddie Benavides, first-base coach for the Cincinnati Reds, and Violeta...has two sisters, Krizia and Sienna...aspires to work as a Major League scout, college baseball coach or work in the front office for a Major League team.
