2026: Anchored the middle of Little Rock's lineup and emerged as one of the Ohio Valley Conference's top power hitters while helping lead the Trojans to a second consecutive OVC Tournament championship and the program's first NCAA Super Regional appearance. Cano started 62 games and batted .293 with 71 hits, 15 doubles, 12 home runs, 31 RBI and 42 runs scored. The senior first baseman reached base at a high rate, drew 15 walks and delivered numerous clutch hits throughout the season. Cano recorded 20 multi-hit games, including a season-high four-hit performance against Eastern Illinois. He posted multiple two-home run games, highlighted by a pair of home runs and three RBI in a road victory at UT Martin. Cano finished second on the team in home runs and provided veteran leadership for one of the most successful teams in program history. Defensively, he was exceptional at first base, posting a .994 fielding percentage with just three errors in 477 chances while helping turn 33 double plays. During the postseason, Cano helped power Little Rock through both the OVC Tournament and Hattiesburg Regional, contributing key hits as the Trojans captured conference and regional championships.
