2012: Earned First Team All-Sun Belt Conference and First Team ABCA All-South Central Region honors as a junior … Started all 43 games he appeared in, ranking third on the team with a .315 batting average … Finished second on the team with 14 doubles and a .533 slugging percentage, which placed him eighth in the Sun Belt … Added two triples and six home runs, while totaling 30 runs scored and 33 RBI … Enjoyed a 12-game hit streak from March 30-April 20 – the longest by a Trojan during the 2012 season … Had 15 multi-hit and eight multi-RBI performances … Named to the Johnny Bench Award watch list on May 7 … Established season highs for hits, runs scored and RBI in a win over South Alabama on April 13, as he went 4-for-5 at the plate with three runs scored, five RBI, two doubles and a homer … Had four three-hit games on the year, the last of which was a 3-for-4, three-RBI effort against Arkansas State on May 18 … Also drove in three runs against UAPB (Feb. 19) and Florida Atlantic (May 12) … Started all 30 games in conference play, batting .310 with 10 doubles, five homers and 20 runs scored … Tied for the team lead with 23 RBI in league games, and ranked second on the team with a .526 slugging percentage … Threw out a league-high seven runners on stolen base attempts in conference play.
