Before Little Rock: As a sophomore at JCCC, he appeared 17 games all in relief … Had a record of 0-2 with a save and 38 strikeouts over 22 2/3 innings  … Did not allow a hit or run and struck out two over an inning in a 12-3 win over Southwestern (2-18-24) … Struck out the side in the final inning of a 7-6 win over Cloud Count to pick up a save (2-29-24) … Hurled another perfect inning of relief with two strikeouts in an 11-1 win at Neosho County (3-9-24) … Struck out the side in back-to-back inning relief appearances, first in a 12-0 win over Baker JV (3-23-24) and in a 14-0 win at Highland (3-30-24) … As a freshman appeared in two games with one start.
