Biography

2026: Delivered several of the biggest hits of the season while serving as one of Little Rock's most versatile infielders during the Trojans' run to a second consecutive Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship and the program's first NCAA Super Regional appearance. Chaplain earned All-OVC Tournament Team honors after playing a key role in Little Rock's championship run. He appeared in 47 games and hit .224 with 39 hits, eight doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 33 RBI and 30 runs scored. He provided power throughout the lineup, including a four-RBI performance at Memphis and a two-home run, three-RBI game at UT Martin. Chaplain recorded key hits throughout conference play and the postseason, including a triple against Southern Indiana in the OVC Tournament and a two-RBI performance against SIUE during Little Rock's championship run. Defensively, he posted a .984 fielding percentage with 119 putouts and 128 assists while helping turn 24 double plays. Chaplain also displayed outstanding versatility, making plays across the infield and providing stability during one of the most successful seasons in school history. His walk-off hit in the 14th inning against Eastern Illinois helped propel the Trojans to a crucial conference series sweep, while his postseason contributions helped Little Rock capture both the OVC Tournament title and the Hattiesburg Regional championship.
