Set a career-high with nine strikeouts at Georgia Southern as he went 8.0 innings and allowed just two runs on five hits and two walks in the Trojans' 3-2 win (April 23)... Earned his first win of the season at No. 16 Louisiana after throwing 5.0 innings, striking out three and allowing just two runs on six hits and a walk (March 19)... 2014: Appeared in 16 games with three starts and 13 relief appearances… Posted a 1-1 record in 34.2 innings while striking out 32 batters… Made his Little Rock debut going 2.1 innings and striking out five in relief against Creighton on Feb. 15… Earned his first career win against IPFW on March 1… Pitched 12.0 innings in six outings before giving up a run, including a two-inning performance in his first career start at Central Arkansas on April 2… Got a no decision in his start against Troy on April 18 after throwing 5.2 innings and allowing five runs, four earned… Struck out four in a 5.2-inning relief appearance at Texas State on May 10... Elkhart Central HS:  Played for Steve Stutsman at Elkhart Central HS… Led the Blazers to a 33-1 record with a State and Conference Championships his senior season… On the mound, finished his senior season 9-0 with a 0.73 ERA with 93 strikeouts to be named Conference MVP and All-State as a pitcher… Also named Pre-Season All-Region and Second Team All-America... Appeared on the Honor Roll all four years and was named to the Principal’s Honor Roll his senior year in HS.
