2013: Appeared in 13 games with 13 starts as a junior in 2013 … Compiled a 4.72 ERA and totaled 44 strikeouts over 68.2 innings of work … Finished the season with a 5-4 record … Held opposing hitters to a .295 batting average … Struck out a season-high six batters on four occasions … Went 2-3 with a 5.88 ERA in five starts during Sun Belt play … Earned his first win of the season after striking out six and surrendering just one run on three hits in 6.0 innings against SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 24) … Improved to 2-0 after giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits in 7.0 innings against Western Illinois (March 3) … Worked 6.0 innings, striking out six while giving up three runs on four hits in UALR’s 13-3 win over ULM (March 31) … Pitched one of the best games of his career in game two of a doubleheader sweep against No. 10-ranked Oklahoma, limiting the Sooners to three runs (two earned) on seven hits over 8.0 innings … Helped UALR clinch a bid to the Sun Belt Tournament by working 8.0 innings against Arkansas State (May 18), allowing just one run on seven hits.
2012: Appeared in 16 games with nine starts as a sophomore, compiling a 3-2 record with a 6.46 ERA over 47.1 innings … Recorded his first win as a Trojan by holding Southeast Missouri to four hits and two runs (one earned) over 4.1 innings … Led UALR to a 7-3 victory over Troy on March 25 to pick up his second victory, limiting the opposition to three hits and one run while establishing season highs for strikeouts (five) and innings pitched (7.2) … Went 2-1 in league play with an 8.84 ERA over seven appearances … Named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.0 to 3.49.
