2026: Put together an outstanding junior campaign, earning All-Ohio Valley Conference Second Team honors while helping lead Little Rock to a second consecutive OVC Tournament championship and the program's first NCAA Super Regional appearance. Freund started all 57 games at third base and batted .329 with 75 hits, nine doubles, eight home runs, 44 RBI and 38 runs scored. He ranked among the team's leaders in batting average, hits and RBI while providing a steady presence in the middle of the lineup. Freund recorded 22 multi-hit games and delivered several signature performances throughout the season, including a four-RBI game with two home runs at Tennessee Tech and another four-RBI effort with two home runs at UT Martin. He also posted three-hit games against Tennessee Tech, Southern Indiana, Eastern Illinois, SIUE, Southern Miss and Jacksonville State. Defensively, Freund continued to establish himself as one of the league's premier third basemen, making numerous highlight-reel plays while anchoring the left side of the infield. He elevated his play during the postseason, batting .391 during Little Rock's OVC Tournament and Hattiesburg Regional runs while recording multiple-hit games against SIUE, Southern Miss and Jacksonville State. His clutch hitting, consistency and leadership were instrumental in helping the Trojans win both the OVC Tournament and Hattiesburg Regional championships and advance to the first Super Regional in school history.

• Appeared in 22 games including three starts for Little Rock
• Threw a total of 46.2 innings and finished the season with a 2-2 record with one save
• Totaled 42 strikeouts to just 17 walks
• Earned his first win as a Trojan on 3/18 vs UCA after tossing 4.2 innings with five strikeouts and one run allowed
• Saw action in two games during the Baton Rouge Regional, totaling 3.2 innings vs #20 Dallas Baptist and #1 LSU

• Appeared in one game as a freshman … struck out two and walked two in two innings on the season

• Three year letterman at Lewisburg high school in Olive Branch, Miss. under head coach Rusty Cagle
• In three years, he was 5-3 with a 3.78 ERA, but his junior and senior years were major improvements averaging a 2.51 ERA
• Allowed only 38 hits and 25 earned runs while striking out 61 in 210 batters faced
• No. 7 rated right-hander and No. 23 rated in the overall category in the state of Mississippi
