Joey Lednicky joined the Little Rock Athletic Department as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2023. His primary sports for the Trojans will be baseball, men's and women's cross country, and men's and women's track and field.
Lednicky comes to Little Rock after spending two years at Tarleton State University where he served as the head athletic trainer for women's volleyball, cheer, and dance. While at Tarleton State, his duties included practice, game coverage, and travel for the NCAA Division I WAC volleyball team. He also was the primary athletic trainer for the men's basketball team at the College Basketball Invitational in 2023. During his time at Tarleton State, he served as a preceptor to Master of Science in Athletic Training students.
Lednicky also taught as a Graduate Assistant Teacher of Kinesiology at Tarleton State. He instructed ECSI CPR and First Aid Certification as well as other techniques and procedures related to the degree. He also trained undergraduate students in proper CPR and AED techniques.
Prior to his time at Tarleton State, Lednicky attended Texas State University where he gained experience as a level 1 student with the baseball team and level 3 student with the volleyball team.
Lednicky obtained his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Texas State in May of 2021. Lednicky completed his Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Administration degree from Tarleton State in May of 2023.
