2005 (As a Junior):  Made a team-high 19 appearances as a junior with nine starts, compiling a 5-5 record with a 6.14 earned run average ... Tied for the team lead in wins (five) and saves (two) ... Ranked second on the squad with three complete games ... Named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week on May 2 after leading UALR to a 7-2 win over No. 21 Louisiana-Lafayette, by going all nine innings with two runs allowed (one earned), while scattering five hits and striking out three ... Lowered his ERA to 5.62 over eight appearances (five starts) in Sun Belt Conference play ... Threw the final 3.0 innings of a 3-0 shutout over Tennessee-Martin on March 13, recording four strikeouts ... Fanned a season-high six batters against Mississippi Valley State on May 8 (game two) ... Ranked second on the team with eight games finished ... Was third on the UALR pitching staff with 70.1 innings pitched.

 

Junior College:  Went 6-4 on the mound as a sophomore with eight complete games, two shutouts an a 2.81 ERA while recording 80 strikeouts over 71 innings pitched...Led the 2004 Centaurs to a Region XVI Championship and helped them advance to the super regionals...Went 3-0 and had 27 strikeouts in 27 innings with a 3.50 ERA in an injury shortened freshman season...Named to the Honor Roll for academic excellence and was awarded the academic achievement award for the highest GPA on the team in 2004.

 

High School:  At Platte County High School, he was a three-time All-Conference, three-time All-Metro, and three-time All-State performer...Won 27 games with only two losses in 200 innings of work in his high school career...Registered 238 strikeouts, with 20 complete games, 17 shutouts and five saves with an ERA of 1.01 for his career...Helped lead Platte County to a 24-3 record and the 2002 state title...Also participated in basketball and soccer during his freshman year...Named to the honor roll for academic excellence all four years, and was a member of the DECA team that finished third at state, the forensics club, and Who's Who among High School Students.
