2006 (As a Junior): Played in 45 games with 33 starts in his first season with the Trojans, sharing catching duties with freshman Drew Gray ... Started 18 of UALR’s 24 Sun Belt Conference games ... Batted .253 over 87 at-bats and drove in 10 runs ... Drew eight walks and was hit by three pitches to bring his on-base percentage to .337 ... Hit one home run on the year, a solo shot in the bottom of the eighth inning in UALR’s eventual 2-1 win over Texas-Pan American (March 18) ... Had five multi-hit games ... Totaled a season-high two RBI against Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 26) ... Threw out 11 of 71 would be base stealers (15.5 percent) ... Led the team with seven sacrifice hits.

Junior College: Spent a season at both Concordia University at Austin, and Northeast Texas Community College.

High School: Earned All-State honors at Concordia Lutheran High School following his junior and senior seasons ...
