2023 (Senior): In his senior season, Tyler Williams appeared and started in 52 games … The All-OVC First Team recipient had a record breaking season as he broke the record for career triples (15) and total bases (350) … Williams hit a .368 batting average with a .601 slugging percentage and a .415 on-base percentage … Williams led the team in at bats (223), hits (82), triples (7), total bases (134), and stolen bases (23) … In the OVC, Williams finished the season 1st in hits (82), 1st in triples (7), 2nd in batting average (.368), 5th in stolen bases (23), 7th in total bases (134), 8th in slugging percentage (.601), and 10th in runs scored (46).
2022 (Junior): In his 3rd year as a Trojan appeared and started all 51 games in center field for Little Rock being one of four players to start every game of the year … Batted .302 on the year which was tied for 3rd on the team while having an on base percentage of .369 and a slugging percentage of .472 … Led the team in runs scored with 45 as well as triples with 4 … Also was the leader in stolen bases, successfully snagging 21 bases on 24 attempts good for an 87.5% success rate … Started the year on fire hitting .455 in the first weekend against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 18-20) this included 5 total hits 2 of which were doubles, 3 RBI with 2 runs scored, a pair of walks and 4 stolen bases … This trend continued throughout the year with 18 multi-hit games … Hit first home run of the season in the first game of a double-header versus North Alabama (Mar. 13) while going 2 for 4 with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored in the game … Collected 4 hits in a homecoming series at Georgia State (Mar. 18-20) driving in 3 runs with 2 doubles and scoring 3 times himself … Had hits in 39 of the Trojans 51 games including going on a 9-game hit streak to finish off the year.
2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 51 games with 50 starts at centerfield for the Trojans ... Batted .288 with a .316 on base percentage and a team-best .512 slugging percentage ... Led Little Rock in hits (59), at bats (205), doubles (16), triples (3), home runs (8), runs batted in (42), total bases (105) and stolen bases (10) ... Posted a team-best 15 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games ... Registered a 24-game reached base streak from Feb. 21 through Apr. 9, the longest on the team ... Drove in a season-high five runs at Georgia State (May 22), going 3-for-5 with a three RBI home run and an RBI triple ... Drove in four runs at Auburn (Mar. 14), going 3-for-5 with a double and a triple, finishing a home run shy of the cycle ... Tallied four RBI at Southern Illinois (Mar. 27) in a 3-for-4 effort with a pair of doubles ... Went 3-for-5 against Texas State (Mar. 20) with three runs scored ... Registered a pair of hits in 11 games, including going 2-for-4 against South Alabama (May 27) in the Sun Belt tournament with a double and an RBI ... Notched a steal at Nicholls (Feb. 21), going 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI ... Went 2-for-4 at Oklahoma State (Feb. 25) with a stolen base ... Finished 2-for-4 with a double at Southern Miss (Mar. 6) ... Ended the year going 2-for-4 with a run scored in the win at Southern Miss (Mar. 8) ... Finished the season with four stolen bases, four walks and a pair of doubles ... 2020 NCAA baseball season was canceled on March 12, 2020, due to a global coronavirus pandemic.
