Biography

2025 (Freshman): The walk-on was pressed into service when veteran catcher Trey Hill was lost with an injury. Martin has responded as he is among the leaders in hitting with a .309 average and has totaled 5 home runs and 31 RBI. He drove in the go-ahead run in the ninth inning to beat Eastern Illinois in the OVC Tournament title game. He hit .500 in the five tournament games and for his efforts was awarded the tournament MVP honor. He was also earned All-OVC honors.
