Wes Flanigan announced the addition of Josh Priola as Little Rock’s new video coordinator in May 2016. Priola spent the past two seasons as the video coordinator at TCU.

“I am extremely thankful for the opportunity coach Flanigan has given me,” Priola said. “I look forward to helping the program build off last year’s success. My family in New Orleans already bought a Little Rock flag to hang outside the home.”

Prior to his time as the staff’s video coordinator, Priola was a student manager at LSU and TCU under head coach Trent Johnson. Priola started at LSU in Aug. 2009 and his responsibilities included all aspects of work within the basketball office and the day-to-day operations of the program.

“Josh Priola is going to be a great addition to our staff,” Flanigan said. “He has a lot of knowledge in terms of video after doing it the past two seasons at TCU. He is a hard worker, a grinder, the kind of guy that can help replace the guys we had in his position last year. I look forward to working with him and he is going to be a huge part of our success.”

After making the move to TCU, Priola’s responsibilities shifted to student manager oversight, mail outs and film exchange. His duties extended to practice drills, rebounding and helping schedule recruiting visits.

“Josh was my manager at LSU and then came with me when we made the move to TCU,” Johnson said. “Josh has seen every type of high-level athlete. He is from New Orleans, so he has seen the best of the best. I think he has a great chance to be a really good coach. He is loyal and works extremely hard. He is a heck of a kid and he loves basketball. He is well-rounded and is more than just a gopher.”

As video coordinator, Priola’s responsibilities included organizing a recruiting database, developing mail outs, film exchange, scouting opponents, highlights and student manager oversight. He also assisted with the program’s summer basketball camps.

Priola graduated from TCU in 2014 with Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
