Tied with teammate Billy Zihala for the 15th spot at the Sun Belt Conference Championships April 21-23 at Niceville, Fla., shooting 71-76-76-223 ... Carded a season-low round of 66 in the first round of the season-opening Mean Green Invitational Sept. 16-17, finishing with 66-77-73-216 and ending in a tie for 13th.
2001-02: Played 16 rounds and recorded a stroke average of 76.25 as a freshman ... Twice shot rounds of 72, at the SMU Stonebridge Classic in Dallas and again at the Henry Griffits/Baylor Invitational in Waco, Texas ... Top finish was a tie for third with teammate Raul Sanz at the Texas-Arlington JV Classic, where he shot 75-76-151.
