Jinson Kang

Jinson Kang

Jinson Kang became the new assistant coach of the Little Rock swimming and diving team on August 7, 2017, after a successful four-year career at Little Rock. She assists with all aspects of the swimming and diving program. Throughout her time as assistant coach, 18 Little Rock swimming and diving school records have been broken.

As an athlete for Little Rock swimming and diving, Kang broke the 400 IM school record with a time of 4:23.14 and the 200 IM record with a time of 2:06.20. She was also a member of the record-breaking 800 freestyle relay. Her 400 IM record and 800 free relay record still stands as of the 2019-2020 season. Kang collected All-Conference Team honors, was awarded All-Conference Honorable Mention twice, and also garnered MVC Scholar-Athlete Team honors.

Before attending Little Rock, Kang graduated from Bryant High School in Bryant, Arkansas. She is originally from South Korea.
